Vlocity Raises $50M for Industry Specific Software on Salesforce Platform
Vlocity, a startup that provides customer relationship management software targeting specific industries, has raised $50 million led by Sutter Hill Ventures and Salesforce Ventures.

Vlocity is built on Salesforce.com’s platform and is a close partner. Salesforce.com is the largest source of leads for Vlocity, said David Schmaier, chief executive and founder of the San Francisco-based startup.
Also participating were strategic investors Accenture and New York Life, as well as Kennet Partners, TDF Ventures and Wildcat Venture Partners. Vlocity previously raised $42.8 million led by Salesforce with participation from Accenture.
