Refugees Seeking a Fresh Start Get a Helping Hand Thanks to Vlocity Public Sector
The H.O.M.E (Housing Opportunities & Marketplace Exchange) website is powered by a new cloud application from Vlocity Public Sector. In less than four weeks, Vlocity enabled WoodGreen and implementation partner Deloitte LLP to deliver the website that matches Syrian refugees with housing, jobs, furniture, clothes, and other services donated by individuals and businesses. The Vlocity software enabled rapid deployment, a critical factor given the recent influx of Syrian refugees entering Canada. The Canadian government projects it will receive 25,000 Syrian refugees by the end of March.
